Does my phone support eSIM? Look it up by model

中文版

Type your phone’s model to see whether it takes an eSIM, and which versions: the same phone often does in one country and not in another. 221 models from Apple, Huawei, Samsung, Xiaomi, Honor, OPPO, vivo and Google, each from the maker’s own pages, checked 2026-10-28. Phone not on the list, or want to be sure? The ten-second test below settles it for the phone in your hand.

The ten-second test

  • Dial *#06#. An “EID” line means the phone supports eSIM; no EID, no eSIM.
  • On an iPhone, Settings → General → About shows the EID too; on Android, look under About phone.
  • The phone also has to be unlocked, not tied to one carrier.

  • Not stated: the maker does not say either way. The *#06# test answers it.
  • Not on the list (OnePlus, Motorola, Sony, realme and others): their makers publish no single list we could cite. Use *#06#.
