Vietnam eSIM prices compared (2026): Green Tea Mobile, Airalo and Holafly, trip by trip
Which Vietnam eSIM is best depends on your trip. Here are four common ones, priced at Green Tea Mobile, Airalo and Holafly: theirs as their own pages showed them on October 28, 2026, ours from the plans on sale now, all in US dollars. For each of these trips, ours is the cheapest. Fixed data is cheapest for maps, messages and browsing; unlimited is worth it only for a lot of video or hotspot use.
Who wrote this: Green Tea Mobile, which sells eSIMs. To keep it fair, every price carries its date and source, and where another shop is cheaper, the table says so.

Each cell is that shop’s cheapest plan lasting the trip with at least that much data; the cheapest in each row is in green. Airalo: fixed-data plans; Holafly: unlimited-data plans, sold by the day.
Which suits whom
- Green Tea Mobile: the lowest price on all four trips above; plans last at least 3 days, pay with Alipay or WeChat Pay, and an eSIM not yet installed can be refunded to points on its order page.
- Airalo: fixed-data plans in set lengths (3, 7, 15 and 30 days for this destination) and its own app for top-ups.
- Holafly: unlimited data by the day, the simplest if you stream a lot and would rather not count; the most expensive for light use. Its page says a refund can be asked for within 6 months, with conditions.
Beyond the price
- When the plan starts counting: at payment, or at your first connection there. Ours start at first connection for most plans; the plan page says.
- Whether your phone can install it at all: dial *#06# and look for an EID line.
- How you pay and get help: a shop you cannot pay or reach in your language is no bargain.
